JR42990 Manufacturing Supervisor

As Micron’s Assembly & Test Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading designated Manufacturing teams. The job requires to lead and handle a group of operators and/or technicians to meet the factory goals on Safety/Quality/Control/Delivery and Efficiency. You will seek for production execution improvement & strive for manufacturing excellence. Other tasks include but is not limited to people coaching and development, performance management, and stakeholders management.

Simultaneously, you will be responsible for collaborating with partners (Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement and all other supporting groups) and other site manufacturing team / Backend Central team to deliver tactical solutions to meet the customer demand and exceed the business plan.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Directly lead and handle a group of operators and/or technicians to meet the factory goals on Safety/Quality/Control/Delivery and Efficiency.
- Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner/environment, with a commitment to safety policies and comply to documented procedures
- Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met by coordinating the work of Team Leaders and production employees, including monitoring production flow in order to make needed adjustments to meet all customer production requirements
- Lead the scheduling and effectiveness of all production employee training, making sure all employees in their assigned department are trained on job operations and qualified in proper work processes
- Provide leadership, coaching & motivation to all Team Leaders and production employees by evaluating performance and completing performance reviews
- Commitment to drive & train teams to deliver exceptional first time quality attitudes through quality programs
- Advanced job levels requires establishing operating policies and procedures, coordination of multiple functions within a manufacturing facility, strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within set quality and cost objectives

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical fields preferred; Mathematics, Pure Sciences & Engineering. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience in other fields will also be considered
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Individuals with shown leadership skills and enjoy working with little or no direct supervision
- Able to balance multiple priorities/tasks efficiently. Exhibit interest in learning & possess good problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, self motivated and leadership skill with an extremely positive attitude towards working as a team.
- Teammate with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in shift patterns and support overtime as & when a business need arises
