Lead cross-functional teams to execute the NPI process within the operations group.
- Provide engineering support for all activities in product development process.
- Prepare project timelines and identify all resources requirement and evaluate costing for manufacturing processes.
- Set an overall Operational NPI plan, Set Ops KPI’s, Track and follow project progress, manage risk and report accordingly. AUTHORITY To approve purchase request.
- Overall accountability of production data integrity including: BOM, production documentation, jigs and tools, product regulation.
- Able to read, analyse and analytical technical drawing.
- Sourcing for new item/parts, manufacturing process and material.
- Manage component readiness through cost-analysis, obtaining resources, and implementing operation program and schedule.
- Establishing and documenting process specifications that ensure manufacturing operations will meet product capability and quality expectations.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to all production processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement through engineering change requests.
- Prepare plans for all NPI projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure a good quality product - represent the operations in the product life cycles gates.
- Complete a costing calculation (customer RFQ) within the time frame. Coordinate and review RFQ costing to ensure pricing are competitive and profitable.
- Communicate with customers to understand their quotation and manufacturing needs and fulfill those customer requirements.
- To assist on quotation process and provide quotation on time manner and accuracy and support sales personal to confirm sales.

*Knowledgeable in 3D & 2D drawing.

**Salary**: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bukit Mertajam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Industrial Engineering: 5 years (preferred)
