As a Quantity Surveyor in our Interior Design Company, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling costs related to projects. Your primary responsibilities will include estimating project costs, preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated budget constraints. You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure financial success and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
**1) Cost Estimation**:

- Conduct detailed cost estimates for interior design projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
- Analyze and compare costs to ensure competitiveness and value for money.

**2) Budget Preparation**:

- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to establish realistic project budgets.
- Provide detailed breakdowns of costs for various project phases.

**3) Cost Monitoring**:

- Regularly monitor project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Identify and report on any cost variations and recommend corrective actions.

**4) Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and organized records of project costs, contracts, and related documents.
- Prepare reports on cost-related aspects for internal and external stakeholders.

**5) Communication**:

- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure clear communication regarding cost-related matters.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on cost status and projections.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to the success of our projects by ensuring financial viability, cost control, and efficient resource utilization.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
