PURPOSE OF JOB:
Operate the Waste Water Treatment plat and utilities in a safe and effective manner in compliance with all government standards & regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct daily performance monitoring for Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS).

2. To operate, monitor & control the plant in order to meet desired result & goals.

3. To operate filter press, DAF & decanter & cleaning as required according to schedule.

4. Ensure all waste water (influent) is treated before discharge.

5. Ensure the final discharge comply to standard requirement enforced by Department of Environment (DOE).

6. Ensure all scheduled waste from the whole factory to be disposed correctly and legally according to DOE guidelines.

7. To report if any abnormalities to superior e.g. functioning of equipment, abnormal incoming effluent, final discharge, operation& etc.

8. To carry out maintenance or troubleshooting work as when necessary.

9. To maintain good housekeeping & 5S implementation of the plant.

10. To take care of safety equipment in the plant.

11. To carry out analysis on the influent & effluent sample.

12. To segregate waste material ie, non-schedule waste, schedule waste & recyclable materials prior to disposal.

13. To do an arrangement for waste disposal with contractors.

14. To keep waste storage area clean & tidy.

15. To update, monitor & control sludge disposition, chemical inventory, energy & PBA water consumption for data keeping & smooth operation.

16. Submit monthly report to Online Environmental Reporting (OER) system implemented by Department of Environment.

17. Ensure IETS Operator carry out their job accurately in order to run the IETS in good condition.

18. Assist service provider to do weekly effluent sampling for external lab analysis.

19. Carry out duties as delegated by superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENT:
2. At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

3. Good understanding of Safety, Health and Environment knowledge

4. Certified Competent Person in any Environment Competency will be added advantages.

5. Open-minded and willing to co-operate with others include foreign workers.

6. Ability to work as a team in managing challenges in the process.

7. Able to undergo shift work.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
