**Job Title**: DevOps Engineer
**Location**: WFH

**Job Type**: 3 months, extendable upto 6 months

**Expected start date**: 2 weeks from now
**Reports To**: [Engineering Manager / CTO / DevOps Lead]

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **DevOps Engineer** to join our team and help automate, manage, and support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. You will work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration of new software components.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure security and compliance in deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and policies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and Linux administration.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
