**TITLE: Head, HR Malaysia**
**DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCE**
JOB SUMMARY
This role will lead a team of Site HR managers in Malaysia and reporting to CHRO. This is a full-time position responsible for all aspects of HR matters for the business and operations in Malaysia. We expect this role to devote time, attention and best efforts to advise and develop HR leaders in Malaysia to deliver best performance, observe corporate policies and control measures, stay in compliance with applicable local laws and make continuous improvement to HR policies, practices and processes to support our business operations and growth in Malaysia.
This role is also the Business Portfolio (BP) HR business partner to BP1 and BP2.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coach HR managers to develop a strong mindset of compliance, control and execution to formulate site HR policies and effective processes in carrying our various HR site functions and activities, such as recruitment, compensation, benefit claims, attendance control, payroll control, supplier management, industrial relations, employee relations, etc.
- Ensure Site management & Site HR comply with Corporate policies, Corporate HR Approval Matrix, local labour laws and other applicable people-related laws in Malaysia.
- Regularly update CHRO and Senior Management on Malaysia’s HR matters, including change in labour or relevant laws that affect our business operations and sources of human capital.
- Ensure Malaysia HR teams respond timely to Corporate’s timeline on performance, salary and bonus review cycle, PDPA annual declarations, Sustainability Data reporting, etc.
- Support and work with Site HR to
- upkeep a strong & harmonious relationship with employees, embassies, government bodies and relevant industrial groups;
- hire the suitably qualified leaders and people;
- improve HR services & operational efficiency, effectiveness and integrity;
- pay specific attention to workforce supply, capability and compliance issues. These include workforce planning, retention, organization structure, workforce demographic analysis, etc. contributing to workforce competitiveness of the sites;
- address issues that have potential severe consequences.
- Perform other appropriate projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Sciences or even Engineering discipline from reputable Universities.
- At least 15 years of experience in MNC environment. Out of which, at least 5 years of Senior HR leadership experience in a complex/advanced high tech manufacturing environment with multiple-site presence in Malaysia. Preferably came with a mix of reputable sizable local and international MNCs’ work experience.

- Strong project management and problem-solving ability, with influencing skill is key;
- Demonstrated wisdom and intelligence to ask good prompting questions.
- Competent in use of data to understand situations and measure progress and outcome.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: From RM8,000.00 per month
