**We are actively looking for experienced "IT Project Manager" from Banking/ Financial domain to join our Malaysia team.** **Role : IT Project Manager** **Role Type**:Initial 12 months and Renewable Contract **Job Location**: KualaLumpur, Malaysia **Job Description (JD)**: **IT Project Manager** **JOB PURPOSE** 1. Manage organisation’s digital transformation and strategic projects and successfully implement projects timely, within the resources, budget and scope of work. 2. Plan, present and update project progress to respective project committees and stakeholders regularly. 3. Projects are to be completed and upon stability of the implementation to handover prior to the project closure. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Manage organisation’s digital transformation and strategic projects from procurement until implementation. 2. Lead, monitor, coordinate and complete the projects timely, within the resources, budget and scope of work. 3. Plan, present and update project progress including project team, timelines, scope of requirements, change management, risks, issues, etc. to respective project committees and stakeholders regularly. 4. Initiate and coordinate teamwork including relationships between internal and external’s resources to minimize communication gap during the project. 5. Organise and assist in defining the project scope and objectives, including business, technical and security requirements, together with all the relevant team members. 6. Develop a detailed end-to-end project plan to include: 1. project charter, scope, cost, schedule, potential risks, change management, possible issues and key success factors. 2. Manage and organise a comprehensive testing on functionality, load and performance of the system implemented. 3. Manage and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques for reporting purposes. 7. Ensure complete compilation and maintain comprehensive project documentation end-to-end by the project team including the change management prior to system go live. 8. Perform any other task as and when requested by supervisor / management. **WORKING EXPERIENCE** 1. Minimum 5 years in project management (preferably in Financial Service/Banking Institution industry) 2. Must have in depth knowledge in Project management 3. Prefer some with IT Application Project Management background instead of Infra project management background. **QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS** 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 2. Preferable with Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or similar certification 3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 4. Added advantage to those having professional certification in IT security, network security and cyber security 5. Has the strong capability of managing, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem solving skills, multitasking,among others 6. A good team player and can adjust well with the organisation’s culture and values. 7. Has a strategic thinking, a fast learner and can align to organisation’s directions. **Job Type**: Contract Contract length: 12 months **Salary**: RM3,511.40 - RM12,410.84 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance **Experience**: - Project management: 5 years (required)
