The Demand Planner / Inventory Management Senior Executive will lead the forecasting and inventory planning function to ensure business continuity and sustainable growth. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, op Operations, and Finance. The individual will be expected to not only execute but also improve planning pro processes, drive forecast accuracy, and balance stock availability with working capital requirements.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
a. Demand forecasting
- Own the end-to-end demand planning process, from data gathering to forecast consolidation and presentation.
- Develop rolling demand forecasts by SKU, channel, and region, integrating inputs from Sales and Marketing.
- Conduct variance analysis against actual sales and continuously refine models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.

b. Inventory Management
- Set and review safety stock, reorder points, and coverage policies across all SKUs.
- Proactively monitor stock health across warehouses, distributors, and partners, highlighting potential shortages or excesses.
- Recommend replenishment strategies, clearance actions, and corrective measures for slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Work with Procurement and Logistics to ensure alignment on lead times and supply plans.

c. Cross-Functional Leadership Strategy
- Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance for all matters relating to demand and inventory.
- Support Commercial teams by aligning forecasts with promotional and campaign activities.
- Partner with Finance to manage working capital exposure, cash flow, and inventory write-offs.
- Provide clear data-driven recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

d. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on forecast accuracy, stock position, and KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting, inventory tracking, and system utilisation.
- Mentor and guide junior team members or interns (if applicable).

e. System & Tools
- Ensure all SKU data (lead times, MOQ, pack sizes) is up-to-date in ERP/inventory systems.
- Utilise advanced Excel models for scenario planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with IT/BI teams to develop dashboards and improve visibility of demand and inventory metrics.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
- 4-7 years’ experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain within FMCG/consumer goods.
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and managing stock levels effectively.
- Advanced Excel capability; familiarity with ERP systems (SQL, SAP, Odoo, Oracle, NetSuite) is required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; able to influence and challenge constructively.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to balance availability and cost.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
