**Responsibilities**

**Team Management**:

- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of Data Center Operations Technicians.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
- Supporting the creation of deployment schedules for technicians working in 24/7 shifts.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Ensure smooth and efficient operations of data center facilities.
- Monitor and manage the performance of IT equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate and oversee hardware installations, moves, additions, and changes.

**Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Oversee regular physical and visual inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues related to IT and network equipment.
- Manage decommissioning of IT equipment including networks, servers, storage, and backup devices.

**Vendor and Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Manage vendor relationships and supervise vendor activities on-site.
- Oversee inventory management, including RMA, cold spares, equipment, and tools.

**Access and Security Management**:

- Manage data center access requests and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Oversee media management, including HDD/SSD destruction and disposals.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on operational activities, progress, and incidents.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all operational procedures and incidents.

**Support and Compliance**:

- Provide on-call support and manage after-hours operations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards.

**Other Duties**:

- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management or clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT and network equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24*7 operational environment.
- Experience with vendor management and coordination.
- Familiarity with data center access management and security protocols.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications such as Data Center Management (DCM), ITIL, or related credentials.
- Experience in managing large-scale data center operations.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices in a data center setting.
