- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Analyze market trends and data to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, cost analysis reports, and savings initiatives.
- Leverage ERP systems and SQL system for process optimization and data management.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., planning, production, logistics) to understand procurement needs and align supply chain goals.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Language Required
- **Malay**: Professional proficiency (verbal and written) - essential for communication within local teams and suppliers.
- **English**: Full professional proficiency (verbal and written) - required for internal communication and coordination with global partners.
- **OPTIONAL - : Mandarin**: Conversational to professional proficiency - required for managing suppliers and business partners in Mandarin-speaking regions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, vendor management, and ERP systems & SQL system
