**COST CONTROL**

**Job Purpose**:
The Cost Controller is responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues of project he/she has been allocated.

**Job description**:

- Responsible to establish the first project budget/forecast based on handover bid from Sales Department. Responsible for the updates of changes to the forecast based on inputs from project management and other project team members as applicable. Responsible for monthly Project Cost Report and Project Management Report
- Preparation of monthly invoices to Client and follow up works (including reimbursable items). Perform economic analysis, forecasts, deviations report etc.
- Update cash forecast. Support identification of Threats and Opportunities and mitigation plan. Increase other Departments’ awareness of the Cost Control function.
- Review of commitments. Assist procurement on invoices from Subcontractors /Suppliers.
- Key tasks - The Cost Controller needs to develop reporting requirements:

- Manpower forecasting
- Vessel / Construction / Manufacturing / Procurement forecasting
- Budget transfer and variation order register
- Budget variance formalization
- Cost sensitivities analysis
- Cash Flow
- Reporting requirements

**Reports to**: Operational - Subsea Project Team

**Location**: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

**You are meant for this job if**:

- Finance/Business/Engineering Bachelor/Master and/or qualification.
- MUST HAVE: SAP ERP & Project Cost Controlling
- Experience in the oil and gas industry. Experience with large companies and an ERP system. (Good to have)
- 4 to 5 years’ experience of Cost Control depending on project size and complexity.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
