A **Banquet Manager** is responsible for overseeing all aspects of large events held in a hotel or venue, including planning, coordinating food and beverage service, managing staff, ensuring smooth execution of events, and maintaining high standards of customer service within the banquet facilities, all while adhering to budget constraints and client expectations.
Key responsibilities of a banquet manager:
**Event Planning and Coordination**:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision, including guest count, menu selection, room setup, and desired ambiance.
- Develop detailed event timelines and operational plans to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage room assignments, catering orders, and any necessary rentals or decorations.
**Staff Management**:
- Supervise and train banquet staff including servers, captains, and bartenders to deliver exceptional service.
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities based on event requirements.
- Monitor staff performance and address any issues promptly.
**Operational Oversight**:
- Inspect banquet spaces to ensure cleanliness and readiness for events.
- Manage inventory of banquet supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and presentation.
**Client Communication**:
- Act as primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Address client concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct pre-event meetings to review details and expectations.
**Financial Management**:
- Monitor event budgets and ensure adherence to cost parameters.
- Track revenue generated from banquet events.
- Manage expenses related to staff, food, and supplies.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
