Building on our strong foundation in Singapore and India, Allianz Consulting is establishing a new strategic hub in Kuala Lumpur. This expansion creates an exceptional opportunity for experienced consultants to shape our Malaysian practice from the ground up, while leveraging our established APAC network. As a member of this founding team in Malaysia, you will partner directly with C-suite leaders to drive transformative initiatives across one of the world's most dynamic insurance markets.
As a Principal Consultant, you will lead complex strategic and transformation initiatives while serving as a key practice builder. You will have the opportunity to develop and mentor consulting teams, own senior client relationships, and play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple strategic initiatives through structured methodologies, ensuring exceptional quality and impactful solutions for our operating entities.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to drive strategic outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Drive practice growth through business development leadership and strategic client proposition development.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Exposure to the financial services/ insurance industry is preferred.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. A second language would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving proficiency, including methodological and conceptualization skills, moderation and presentation.
- Passionate and self-driven with a track record of innovative thinking and driving change.
- International working experience or demonstrated ability to navigate different working cultures.
- Experience in leading and developing consulting teams.
