**Job Responsibility and Authority**:

- Responsible for overall Quality system and operation in QA/QC Department
- Responsible to stop any non-conforming materials, intermediates and finished products from further processing or delivery to the customers
- To create and record the batch manufacturing code for every new batch of production as a product traceability record keeping
- To executive and manage system and standards related to ISO9001, GMP Regulations, Halal Requirement & Related legal requirements.
- To promote an awareness of NPRA compliance, Product Quality and Halal across the organization.
- To ensure that all customer issues including complaints, customer communication and goods returned are effectively handled and resolved in a timely manner.
- To ensure that the organization complies with all quality assurance activities ie. Incoming, In process and Outgoing.
- To ensure that the required GMP compliance, quality, health and safety training is conducted for all employees as per training plan.
- To coordinate quality and GMP Review Meeting.
- To coordinate Supplier visits/audit.
- To prepare and arrange product analysis sample for external laboratory
- Responsible for equipment calibration
- Coordinating of external testing by appointed (contract) lab
- To establish normal/accelerated product stability study according to plan
- To evaluate and approve the analytical test result, which is carried out by appointed third party laboratory services
- Responsible for release/reject of Quarantine Finished Products and ensure the quality of finished product is maintained with proper handling and storage and make sure all necessary testing is carried out
- Responsible to evaluate all complaints received or deficiencies noted about any batch, if necessary in conjunction with other departments, and to take appropriate action accordingly
- Conduct quality & GMP training for factory staff from time to time
- Undertaking any other tasks and /or responsibilities that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

**Requirement **:

- University degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry or other related discipline
- Experiences in QA or production with background of risk assessment and/or sanitation
- Minimum 5-7 years QA/QC experiences in Food / Pharma Manufacturing industry.
- Possess strong fundamental knowledge in GMP and ISO standard requirements.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizing and document control knowledge and skills.
