Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager (Warehouse, Transport and Services Specialist) is a critical position for the business. Ensuring the warehouse, transportation and services strategy of Hilti Malaysia is executed at a high level ensuring strong support and alignment to the overall business strategy, driving superior customer experience and operational excellence.

- Distribution Manager (Warehouse, Transport and Services Specialist) responsibilities lie in the successful execution of high-quality warehousing and transport solutions for the business. Areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- 3PL Management for Warehouse and Transportation scope- o Inbound container cartage & stock receival into the warehouse- o Nationwide finished goods deliveries- o Reverse logistics for returns and aftermarket services (AMS)- o Implement digital transport and sustainability initiatives- The Services scope is exciting and autonomous. The role will be focused on striking the balance between identifying and executing services to benefit the needs of Hilti customers and staying ahead of the market whilst keeping focus on traditional logistics metrics such as cost control.

This role will have multiple points of contact including internal Hilti stakeholders (eg. Sales, Finance, Aftermarket services, Regional functional heads etc) as well as external stakeholders (3PLs, Hilti customers etc.) The individual will be organised and possess high levels of written and verbal communication which they will use to ensure 3PL management and stakeholder management is of an excellent standard.- **We are a multinational company**:

- Minimum of 5 years solid supply chain experience focusing on inbound and outbound distribution and strong leadership in implementing logistics services
- Strong leadership experience and 3PL management skills
- Strategic mindset and able to show experience in innovation, cost optimization, customer experience improvement and process excellence.
- University degree in operations, logistics, or a supply chain related field.
- Direct experience with SAP and using SAP’s BI reporting tools
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with extensive experience in the use of formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and charts.
- Experience creating, customising, maintaining, and documenting reporting solutions and KPI’s performance tracking.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
- Highly developed verbal, written, organisational, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in balancing multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines.
- Proficient in big data analysis to create insights and steer business direction.
- Understanding or certification (preferred) in Lean, Six Sigma, 5s processes etc. Creation, maintenance, and distribution of logistics reporting
- High level organization skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects & deadlines.
- High level written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in powerpoint preparation and presentation with a flair for storytelling.
