Production Operator

As a production operator, you will be responsible for the timely, quality, and efficient production of gearboxes in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. This role requires adherence to established processes, collaboration with team members, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of SPM/SKM or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferably at least 1 year of hands-on or mechanical experience in the manufacturing field.
- Strong team player with effective problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures is advantageous.
- Must be in good physical health to meet the demands of the job.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out production tasks on time and in accordance with quality standards.
- Execute company policies and departmental plans and procedures.
- Implement safety and environmental requirements throughout the production process.
- Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and addressing hazards.
- Strictly follow process requirements to improve operational proficiency.
- Carry out production according to the production plan, minimizing material waste and reducing production costs.
- Collaborate with the foreman and engineer to collect and report production/process data.
- Analyze production issues with the team leader and relevant personnel.
- Maintain effective process control and promptly contact technicians in case of equipment failure.
- Ensure rational use of equipment and tools, performing necessary maintenance work.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S practices in the work area to meet production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with TS16949/ISO14001 standards in daily work.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Operators must be in good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, which may include long hours of standing, lifting heavy objects, and operating heavy equipment.
- Normal vision is required, including the ability to read machine gauges, monitor controls, and recognize hazards or warning signs.
- Normal hearing ability is necessary, especially in a noisy environment.
- The hands must be fully functional with no impairments that could interfere with the operation of machinery or tools.
- Operators may need to lift heavy equipment, parts, or materials, so physical strength and stamina are important.
- A medical examination is required to ensure the absence of chronic illnesses or contagious diseases. This includes passing a standard physical exam to confirm overall fitness for the job.
