JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and workers.
- Develop and enforce the use of safe work practices while working on site.
- Advise project manager and other staffs regarding safety matters.
- Promote health and safety awareness among site workers and staffs.
- To implement health and safety regulations and policy.
- To control hazards and situations that may lead to accidents or illnesses.
- To prepare report as required and forward to the relevant parties.
- Monitoring of Health and Safety Compliance and reporting
- Carry out Health and Safety tool box meetings
- Reporting of incidents to the management and the JKKP
- Investigation and resolution of Health and Safety issues.
- Ensuring that the QESHMS achieves its intended results.
- Ensure the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking.
- Ensure compliance to the ESH operational control at the project
- Implementation of QESHMS procedures
- Ensure compliance to legal and other requirements

JOB REQUIREMENT:

- Minimum 3 to 4 year(s) of working experience and knowledgeable in Road Construction.
- Valid local certification (GREEN BOOK) is required.
- Conducting investigation, Incident response and inspection related to environment.
- Salary Range: RM6,000-RM8,000. (Negotiable based on experience)
