**Responsibilities**:
1. Perform shift routine and emergency production activities according to production planning and instruction as with minimum Superior’s instruction to meet production targets and Quality Standard. Ensure the highest safety standard, rules and procedures are adhered to. Also equally emphasis on SHE principle for optimum efficiency during plant operation.

2. Daily responsibilities:
a) Check and confirm local inventory of production materials and chemicals.

b) Carry out a Chemical Preparation for use.

c) Perform a routine sampling as per sampling schedule.

d) Taking a local transmitter data in datasheet. Confirm the data within the operational range and inform to Boardman/Superintendent on any abnormalities.

e) Perform a Butadiene Rubber bale visual inspection. Remove any contamination at bale surface. Inform to QC Shift technician and Superintendent for abnormality finding (i.e. Metal)

f) Patrol, inspect and confirm operating status of rotating equipment and auxiliary system, valves positions and instrumentations by using prepared checklist.

g) Confirm and carry out self-maintenance work such as strainer replacement or small leakages, etc. under superior supervision.

3. Carry out monthly routine inspection and update checklist and operating manual with assistance from Superior.

4. Perform an isolation, drain out, purging and pressure test work for maintenance activity during commissioning, start-up and shutdown of plant as required.

5. Support, promote and participate in all Company related programs and action plans in relation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other programs which can lead to continual improvement, legal compliances and improvement in staff competency/ awareness.

6. Adhere to safety rules and procedures. Encourage peer and team member to adopt the established safety code, practices and regulatory requirement.

7. Other job tasks assigned by Superiors within the job scopes/job specifications and related job tasks to comply with legal and other requirements which Company subscribes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
- Have experience in Plant Operation especially in Petrochemical process would be added advantage
- Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Must be willing to work in shift
- Applicant must be willing to work in Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang.
- On job training and Off job training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
