**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with outstanding people skills and overall HR knowledge (both legal and administrative) to ensure that our human resources initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.
As the HR Manager, you are responsible to handle overall HR matters strategically and operationally for the organization.
**Requirements**:
- Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management (HRM).
- Minimum of 8 years solid HRM experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (automotive would be a bonus).
- Experience in providing advice and support to managers at all levels in strategic aspects of HRM and employee relations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law including Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 and HRM best practices with relevant skills.
- Well presented, emotionally mature and strong team player with collaborative approach and positive attitude.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, initiative, drive and commitment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form working relationships with people of all levels.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Resourceful with excellent commercial awareness.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a bonus.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- IT savvy (MS Office).
- Valid driving license.
**Mission**
Work closely with the management to manage all aspects of human resources.
Typical duties of this role will include:
You will be in charge of the full spectrum of HR activities, including the below:
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to hire and retain the best possible talent across all departments (manufacturing, engineering, etc.). Oversee full-cycle recruitment process.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives and policies/procedures in line with organizational objectives.
- Develop HR processes including standard HR forms, letters, policies, updating of employee handbook, implementation of HR related policies that are in line with both the Company’s expectations and within regulatory obligations.
- Management of the organisational structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Manage poor performance, misconduct in employment, employee grievances, disciplinary inquiry, disciplinary action, conducting domestic inquiries, preliminary investigations and handling.
- Manage the performance management process including quarterly and annual reviews.
- Develop and manage employee onboarding and exit processes, including conducting exit interviews.
- Manage Payroll including calculating employees’ compensation, updating the internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments.
- Manage the Company’s HRDF funds to ensure that the company capitalizes fully on the training and development of its human assets.
- Promote the values of Bufori through participation in organizational initiatives and by taking actions wherever possible to support corporate initiatives.
- Present appropriate HR reports to include but not limited to headcount status report, monthly and/or quarterly status report at Management and Board Meetings.
- General Administration tasks.
