Project Manager

**About the Role**:

We are seeking a **Project Manager** to oversee the exciting construction and fit-out of a world-class **theme park and family entertainment destination**.

This role offers the rare opportunity to manage a high-profile development project from ground-breaking to grand opening. You will report directly to the **Project Director** and play a critical role in coordinating contractors, consultants, creative teams, and suppliers.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As the **Project Manager**, you’ll be at the heart of one of the most exciting development projects in the leisure and attractions industry. You’ll play a key role in coordinating the entire construction process, ensuring seamless execution, quality finishes, and timely delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
**Project Coordination & Execution**
- Oversee the full scope of construction activities, from groundwork and structural works to mechanical, electrical, and architectural finishing.
- Coordinate multiple contractors, consultants, suppliers, and specialist vendors to ensure smooth project progress.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with design intent and operational requirements.
- Supervise on-site works to ensure construction is carried out according to plans, within quality standards, and safety regulations.

**Scheduling & Time Management**
- Develop detailed work programs and timelines in collaboration with contractors and consultants.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against milestones and report potential delays or disruptions.
- Work with the Project Director to mitigate risks and propose solutions to get projects back on track when needed.

**Cost & Resource Management**
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, bill of quantities, and resource allocation.
- Support procurement processes by coordinating material requisitions, delivery schedules, and supplier management.
- Track usage of materials, labor, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources and avoid wastage.

**Technical & Site Supervision**
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure proper workmanship, adherence to technical specs, and cleanliness.
- Identify, document, and resolve technical issues on-site in collaboration with the design and engineering teams.
- Work closely with safety officers to enforce safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free construction environment.

**Design & Theming Integration**
- Coordinate with creative, theming, and attraction vendors to ensure that themed spaces are built to concept and integrate well with infrastructure.
- Ensure utility points (power, water, drainage, etc.) are correctly aligned with ride systems, kitchens, retail units, or themed installations.

**Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain detailed site records, including daily site reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations.
- Support project handover by ensuring documentation such as as-built drawings, warranties, and certifications are in place.

**Regulatory & Authority Compliance**
- Work with consultants to obtain permits, local council approvals, and utility clearances.
- Ensure project implementation adheres to local building codes, fire and safety standards, and environmental regulations.

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum **5 years** of experience in construction or development project management, ideally with exposure to theme parks, leisure, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, safety regulations, and project tracking tools.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across multiple teams.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and manage on-site decision making.
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project reporting software.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and deadline-driven environment.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
