**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive **test plans** and **test cases**.
- Perform **manual and automated testing** across web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using standard defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test coverage.
- Conduct **regression, functional, integration, system**, and **user acceptance testing (UAT)**.
- Prepare **test reports**, summarize testing results, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Participate in **Agile/Scrum** ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to **testing standards, methodologies**, and **quality assurance best practices**.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology**, or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of experience as a **Test Analyst** or **Software Tester**.
- Strong experience in **manual testing**; exposure to **automation tools** (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in **test management tools** such as **JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr**.
- Good understanding of **SDLC**, **STLC**, and **defect life cycle**.
- Familiarity with **SQL** for backend data validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

**Nice-to-Have**
- ISTQB or other software testing certification.
- Basic knowledge of **automation frameworks** or **CI/CD pipelines**.
- Experience working in **Agile environments**.
- Domain experience in **Oil & Gas**, **Energy**, or **Enterprise Applications** is a plus.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,900.00 per month
