**Job Summary**:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data related to inventory, pricing, and sales within the supermarket's systems. This role ensures that product information is up-to-date, errors are minimized, and records are properly filed and maintained to support store operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Input and update product details, pricing, stock levels, and vendor information into retail databases.
- Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing source documents.
- Assist with generating inventory, sales, and order reports as needed.
- Perform regular audits and data checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Liaise with department managers to obtain updated product or inventory information.
- Support the purchasing team with data entry for purchase orders and delivery records.
- Maintain digital and physical records in an organized and secure manner.
- Assist with labeling and tagging items when required.
- Provide administrative support to management and other departments.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration or Data Management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with retail POS or inventory software is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations and inventory management is preferred.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
