**Responsibilities**:

- To assist Section Head to coordinate between RI Brokers and/or Reinsurers and Underwriters on Reinsurance (Treaty and Fac) related matters.
- Assist in preparation and updating reinsurance documentation.
- Assist in services rendered to enquiries/requests received from internal and external parties.
- Compliance with BNM Guidelines, TM Asia Reinsurance Guidelines and Company Policy.
- To assess RI Inward business offered in line with treaty facilities and underwriting tools.
- To follow up on reinsurance closing and payment diligently for inwards reinsurance business.
- Ensure Facultative RI entries are correctly and promptly entered the company’s in-house system.
- To ensure all placements are completely ceded to qualified reinsurers within the time frame required to protect the company retention.
- To send renewal advice 2 months before expiry.
- Liaise closely with Technical, Underwriting and Marketing/Broking department on the placement of risks and issuance of the policies.
- To assist in preparing and analyzing treaty renewal data.
- To assist system set-up upon finalization of the treaty terms.
- Assist Claims and Finance Dept on matters related to claims recovery, premium collection, and reconciliation of Account Statement.
- Attend to the reinsurer’s enquiries.
- Record and e-file all the documentation i.e. new offers/declined risks/advice into data system.
- Involved in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) related project and any other ad-hoc project assigned by HOD.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science and Insurance or insurance related such as AMII, ACII or AII.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Reinsurance department.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Has technical knowledge in underwriting and handling reinsurance.
- Has good knowledge of the local reinsurance market.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
