Executive, Underwriting Commercial Lines - Treaty & Statistics

Support the Section Head in managing treaty programs, data accuracy, and statistical reports for Commercial Lines underwriting. Provide technical and analytical support to ensure effective treaty operations and performance monitoring.

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in managing treaty programs and departmental statistics.
  • Ensure all treaty and VC updates are accurate and timely.
  • Support underwriters and branches on system-related issues.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for RHQ, regional, and internal requirements.
  • Assist in preparing treaty documents and renewal narratives.
  • Monitor treaty data, performance reports, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain retention tables, RFT PIAM codes, and NAICS mappings.
  • Liaise with brokers and departments to resolve treaty and system issues.
  • Ensure treaty documentation and contracts are accurate and complete.
  • Assist in audits, reinsurance meetings, and reporting activities.
  • Support performance analysis to meet company targets and strategy.

Job Specification:

  • Degree in Insurance or related field.
  • Preferably with CAII / AAII qualification.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Reinsurance or Underwriting.
  • Fresh graduates with internship experience in general insurance underwriting, who are passionate in Treaty Underwriting are encouraged to apply.
  • Good technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
