Adheres to all rules and regulations and hotel policies and assists in enforcing them. - Checks reservations, special arrangements etc. and relates the information to staff. - Inspects stations / sctions for proper functioning of equipment, utensils and furniture and takes corrective action. - Monitors staff cleanliness, appearance, mannerisms and attitudes. - Points out the mistakes made out by the service staff and takes corrective action. - Studies and evaluates the operation and procedures and suggests for improvement to the Manager. - Always punctual, efficient and courteous. Assumes at all times a pleasing and helpful attitude towards each guest and staff alike. - Motivates educates and develops staff on a continuous besis to achieve mazimum efficiency. - Report irregular activities of guests and /or staff to the manager. - Greets, receives and lead guests to the tables. - Presents menus to the guests and suggests / recommends beverages before taking food orders. - Inspects food and beverage to ensure that the order has been correctly carried out. - Supervises and ensures that service is carried out efficiently and handles guest complaints. - Attends and also conducts briefings / meeting solving daily operation problems. He / she has to participate and contribute. - Check with guest as to his satisfaction of the meal or service and relays any complaints, compliments and comments regardless how small to the Manager. Assis with Planning of intradepartment cross training of duties within the outlet. - Supervises the set-up of the food and beverage displays. - Ensures that ordrs given to him / her by the Manager should be carried out. - Strives to develop self confidence which result in a friendly, relaxed attitude with guests. - Work as a team and offers help when needed. He/ She is open to constructive criticisms. - Will assist / handle cash for the outlet. - Will assist in departmental cross training.
