**Details of the Division and Team**:
Branch Operations is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information. This may require them to perform controls within their own area of responsibility. Work includes:

- Ensuring the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.
- Building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and/or external parties.

**Your key responsibilities**:
This person will have the responsibility to provide daily operational support and be involved in process automation initiatives. He/she is expected to manage corporate action related activities such as:

- Extraction/processing of Corporate Action (CA) announcements, meetings and market news for dissemination to clients.
- Processing of Proxy Voting instructions from clients.
- Handle processing on Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action Events.
- Handle internal and external clients’ enquiries on CA events announced and processed.
- Ensure that all CA activities are carried out expeditiously and accurately.
- Liaise with Company Registrar to confirm the details of announcement / arrange for form collection / request for replacement of tax voucher and etc.
- To effectively follow up with the clients who have not provided the voluntary corporate actions instruction.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred, and preferably in securities operations.
- Able to analyze and interpret information
- Good time management, prioritizing tasks and able to meet deadlines
- Responsible and work independently
- Good communication and written skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Hardworking and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
