Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
- Source new suppliers while fostering and maintaining long-lasting relationships with current vendors.
- Execute Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to a diverse pool of vendors/potential supplier, ensuring clear communication of requirements and specifications.
- Analyze quotations based on a multi-criteria approach, considering factors like pricing, quality, lead time, and supplier capabilities.
- Conduct supplier audits and site visits to evaluate facilities, assess risks, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with Purchasing team to negotiate advantageous pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical and purchasing teams to select the most suitable suppliers based on a comprehensive analysis and comparison, considering both technical and commercial factors.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to develop effective sourcing strategies aligned with departmental goals and market trends.
- Develop and propose solutions to improve company spending, outsourcing practices, contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of supplier information, contracts, and procurement activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and best practices.
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for creating reports, presentations, and managing data.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills to assess supplier options and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
