_**FTTH Technician Responsibilities**_
- **Installation**:

- Installing fiber optic cables in homes, including aerial, underground, and indoor runs.
- Terminating fiber optic cables at the customer premises.
- Mounting and securing fiber optic equipment within homes.
- Connecting fiber optic cables to customer's network interface devices.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Performing routine maintenance checks on fiber optic infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving fiber connectivity issues.
- Repairing damaged fiber optic cables.
- Replacing faulty fiber optic components.
- **Testing and Certification**:

- Utilizing specialized equipment to test fiber optic signal strength and quality.
- Performing optical power measurements to ensure network performance.
- Documenting testing results and maintaining accurate records.
- **Customer Service**:

- Interacting with customers to address fiber related issues and concerns.
- Explaining technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating service visits.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in fiber optic splicing techniques.
- Knowledge of fiber optic testing equipment.
- Understanding of network topology and protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Required qualifications:

- **Technical training**:Completion of a fiber optic technician training program.
- **Certifications**:Industry recognized certifications like Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT).
- **Physical abilities**:Ability to work in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor weather conditions.
- **Problem-solving skills**:Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve fiber optic issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
