Reliability Technician

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

1.  Assist engineer in reliability activities and failure analysis of Microphone components through variable test and analysis equipment.

2.  Perform bias board (burn in board) debugging skill and physical analysis on electronic and acoustical components.

3.  Perform mechanical, electrical and acoustical tests to identify and understand product reliability issues, material, and component failure mechanisms.

4.  Know-how in reliability stress testing e.g environmental, electrical, mechanical and acoustical stress testing – REL Technician

5.  Support test data compilation and writing failure analysis report.

6.  Escalate or highlight data anomaly or failures to engineer (or above).

7.  Other tasks assigned by Failure Analysis & Reliability Manager.

8.  To ensure that quality activities performed by incumbent and subordinates (if any) fall in line with MS ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IECQ HSPM QC procedures

Reporting to : Reliability Section Head or above

Supervises    : Operators

Position Requirement

Position : Reliability Technician

Education     : Certificate/Diploma/Advance Diploma in Engineering

Experience   : Junior Technician – Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of experience

Senior Technician – Minimum 3 years experience in related field or equivalent field

Associated Engineer – Minimum 5 years experience in related field or equivalent field

Skill : Basic knowledge of semiconductor device

Good verbal and written communication skills

Special Requirement : Competent in Microsoft office
