Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Low yield analysis technician to assist in all aspects of low-yield analysis across local manufacturing and virtual factory operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting product qualifications, yield improvement initiatives, down-binning processes, experimental validations, Final QA, and Failure Analysis Corrective Reports (FACR). The successful candidate will also contribute to Fab sort yield enhancement and division-level failure analysis activities, ensuring alignment with established service levels.


Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Virtual Factory Support:

  • Provide hands-on support for low-yield analysis activities including product qualifications, down-binning, experiments, Final QA, and FACR documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive yield improvement initiatives within both local and virtual factory environments.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis to support Fab sort yield enhancement and division-level failure investigations.

Lab Management & Production Team Support:

  • Demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintain high attention to detail in all lab operations and documentation.
  • Ensure punctuality and reliability in daily responsibilities.
  • Utilize computer systems effectively, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication tools.

Failure Analysis (FA):

  • Conduct root cause analysis for product failures using established methodologies and techniques.
  • Execute defect identification and characterization processes to support failure investigations.
  • Manage large-scale data collection efforts and compile findings to accelerate Failure Analysis and Failure Investigation (FAFI) processes.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations based on analysis outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience in lab support, manufacturing analysis, or failure investigation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with permanently day shift 7AM-7PM
