**The Opportunity**

Our partner, an established major distributor of top-quality and technologically advanced medical equipment and consumables in Australia, is growing its marketing team and looking to hire a **Social Media Specialist**

As the Social Media Specialist, you will be building and executing social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.

You will be directly reporting to the onshore manager in Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for developing and maintaining social media strategies to boost online activities and the presence of the brand.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action;
- Coordinate and implement social media campaigns across the organization’s social media channels in partnership with business managers, product managers, marketing, and digital;
- Work with the business stakeholders to develop social media initiatives to support major events (e.g. product launches, conferences, charity events, etc.) across the organisation;
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the social activity as they relate to the Device Technologies’ brands, products, people, etc. to enforce and respond to messages and sentiment following the company’s social media policies and guidelines;
- Be an advocate and supporter of the appropriate use of social media that reinforces business activities;
- Educate business stakeholders in the benefits, uses, and best practices when participating in social media in a business context.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Social Media Specialist.
- Experience working on social media platforms, particularly on LinkedIn and some of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Proven experience in delivering social media creative content.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting; Linkedin & Facebook Business Manager experience
- Proven experience in brand campaign management.
- Knowledge of AB testing, other testing metrics, and SEO is desirable.
- Has a sense of ownership and goal-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills
