Infrastructure Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and document comprehensive infrastructure architectures, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud solutions. Design solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals and industry best practices.

3. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate architectural designs and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

4. Support project managers and teams in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects. Review and approve technical designs and documentation for infrastructure projects.

5. Identify potential risks associated with infrastructure solutions and develop mitigation strategies

6. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure and incorporate them into the organization’s architecture as appropriate.

7. Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders on the status of infrastructure solutions and projects.

8. Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and other external partners. Participate in technical discussions, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and contribute to industry advancements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications or a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, including expertise in servers, storage, networks, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with specific technologies or platforms relevant to the organization’s needs (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware, Cisco, F5, Firewall, Solaris, Storage, Database, Network). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
