Malaysia Chubb Full time

Lead and take ownership of financial plans, budgets and projections for the Chubb IT.
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance and reporting.
- Perform financial analysis by comparing actuals to budget, forecast and past years’ financial results at the agreed intervals as well as identifying performance indicators, trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
- Setting up internal controls and processes for intercompany re-charging and payment cycle.
- Issue invoices to various affiliate companies for cost recovery.
- Anticipate financial risks and opportunities to support decision making.
- Proactively provide recommendations on focused areas for cost optimization and efficiency of activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to execute process improvement and propose solution for income & expenses management.
- Implementation of globally consistent policies, procedures, accounting standards & financial control processes, and Ad-hoc reporting, tasks and project requirement as and when required to meet business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Experience in a similar role is acceptable in lieu of a tertiary qualification.
- Preferably at least 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, or financial reporting related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate business results.
- Once trained, level of accuracy for the department required is over 90%.
- Highly motivated individual who can multitask and manage through a multitude of competing priorities at any given point in time under extremely tight deadlines with strong sense of urgency to achieve department goals.
- Ability to understand and dissect any complex issues in hand, rationalized based on any available options and make sound decisions to decide the best outcome for Chubb IT.
