SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - PROCUREMENT TRAINEE

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Job Scope: Supply Chain Management - Procurement Trainee**
- Source, negotiate, and purchase of fabrication parts, raw material, and components.
- To verify, check, and confirm the accuracy of supplier’s invoices together with shipping documents and submit them to Accounts Department for payment process.
- Monitor and ensure the goods arrive on time as planned.
- To ensure purchasing and important documents are properly filed on time and for easy retrieval.
- Communicate with related departments (sales, engineering, production, logistics, QM, etc) for effective operations flow.
- Check and verify supplier’s delivery order (DO) and invoices are tallied with the purchase order (PO) in ERP system.
- Liaise with the supplier if there is a dispute in the DO & Invoices.
- Follow up invoice status with the supplier before month-end closing.
- Ensure the invoice is verified by HoD, Senior Manager, and General Manager before month-end closing.
- Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior when required.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
**Working Hours**: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
**OT**: when required after work hours on weekdays and during weekends/public holidays.
**Allowance**: RM500/month
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
**Supplemental Pay**:
- Overtime pay
**Education**:
Bachelor or Diploma (required)
**Language**:
- English/Malay/Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. (required)
Pay: RM500.00 per month
