Overview:
We're looking for an Executive to join our Disbursement Operations team. This role is essential for managing the entire disbursement process across our Peninsular Malaysia Business Units, ensuring the timely, compliant, and accurate release of funds. You'll be responsible for critical tasks from issuing instructions and tracking documentation to ensuring strict adherence to bank policies and safeguarding customer confidentiality.

This role reports to the Manager of Credit Administration

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Functional _(job responsibilities)_- Manage the entire disbursement process, ensuring timely and compliant release of funds according to established standards.- Issue Letters of Instruction, meticulously track documentation status, and monitor Condition Precedents to ensure strict compliance.- Verify Credit Applications (CA) and Letters of Offer (LO), review Power of Attorney (PA) executions, and ensure all approval conditions and documentation align with bank policies before disbursement.- Maintain accurate customer and facility data. Liaise effectively with solicitors, developers, and internal teams to ensure complete and accurate documentation.- Provide expert advisory support on Credit Operations and Documentation, and efficiently resolve queries from internal and external partners.- Continuously monitor post-disbursement conditions and cultivate strong relationships with Relationship Managers to identify and mitigate business risks.

Jobholder Requirements- Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Actuarial Science, Science & Mathematics, or an equivalent field.

Experience/Requirements- Minimum of 1 years of experience in loan documentation unit or related banking operations.- Knowledge of commercial banking products and services as well as regulations governing commercial banking business and products is preferable.- Good written and oral communication skills in English, and ability to work effectively with people at different levels.- About Hong Leong Bank_
