The Business Support Assistant delivers full Business Support in purchase order handling for the R&D, Quality & Food Compliance department, primarily for the team in Utrecht (Netherlands). The role sits with the Data Factory Team in Johor (Malaysia) and can involve also other tasks supporting Johor Malaysia Data Factory team when required. The Business Support Assistant works with the Business Support Assistant in Utrecht to handle all purchase orders.

There are two primary goals of this role: Support R&D daily business by handling of Purchase Orders for Utrecht and support operation of the R&D team in Johor.

**Business Support - finance process**
- Raise R&D Department PO’s within 24 hours in SAP System and process them throughout the Finance Process
- Maintain financial good practice when executing the R&D Purchase Order process.
- Maintain Vendor Invoice Management system with Accounts Payable to avoid delay in payment.
- Provide departmental support i.e. set up new vendors, increasing limit orders.
- Troubleshoot and optimize business processes for maximum efficiency
- Participate purchasing Business Process Owner meetings

**Business Support - Data Factory team**
- Support Data Factory team with other activities, e.g. specification creation, update, maintenance as well as other support in the Johor R&D facility.
