JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:

- Responsibilities / Task which includes:
1. Provide 1st/ 2nd level recovery / trouble shooting of technical issues

of Video Platform infrastructure and platforms across AABC and ACBC.

2. Provide 24/7 support for Video Platfrom Infrastructure that affect

transmission availability and daily technical operation functions.

3. Liase with internal stakeholders in ensuring the services are delivered

accordingly.
- Respond to Trouble Ticket (TT) and resolve the TT raised by operational teams or other escalated from other engineering units.
- To also perform all configurations related to the Video Platfrom such as channels launching, migration, troubleshooting etc.
- Delivers effective and best in class support and performs day-to-day duties and tasks in accordance with the KPI (Key Performance Indicator).
- Ensure timely escalation of technical issue to vendor for recovery / trouble shooting.
- Recommend process improvements to minimize TT resolution time and other additional improvements to daily operations within the department.
- Ensure reports are drafted in the desired format with accurate / precise data and delivered as scheduled.
- Perform proactive monitoring on the system performance end to end to ensure compliance with specifications and act accordingly immediately as per the SOP when required.
- Execute corrective, preventive, and proactive maintenance activities as per departmental SOP and KPI.
- Prepare and update checklists, SOP and SWHA.
- Assist Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer in project implementation and other operational tasks.
- Generate accurate and updated daily shift reports, performance data reports, incident reports and ad-hoc reports as required in timely manner.
- Proactive communication (internal and external) of incidents or planned activities to manage customer expectations.
- Manages the corrective maintenance activities with relevant teams.
- Address and resolve potential impact to customer experience.
- Ensure all the Video parameters are within the specification.
- Execute all Change Management activities.
- Perform daily backups on system which is critical to on air transmission.
- Proactive tracking on the statistic and monitoring of AWS Infra Platform.

REQUIREMENTS:
Who you are:

- Degree or Diploma in IT/Computer/Communication/ Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Computer literate and good knowledge on Windows, Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand and review technical drawings, e.g., Visio, AutoCAD
- Good oral/written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge in integrated system specifically in broadcast industry.
- Knowledge in cloud services e.g., AWS or Akamai
- Good understanding on networking protocols.
- Capable of working independently and a good team player.
- Able to operate under high pressure condition.
- Knowledge for network infrastructure and perform basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge on OTT, Video and Cloud Technologies
- Open to flexible working hours in a dynamic, fast-paced 24/7 environment with attention to details.
