JOB OVERVIEW Securing the premises and safety of personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure sufficient guards on duty daily - Recruit, train and supervise security guards - Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events - Escort Top Management from carpark to office vice versa - Respond to emergencies and alarms, co-ordinate staff evacuation - Write reports on incidents and breaches - Investigate and resolve issues ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: - Diploma Security & Safety Management or equivalent with at least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred. - Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV) - Some knowledge in office lighting & alarm systems - Experience in reporting and emergency response planning - Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures COMPETENCY (TECHNICAL/NON-TECHNICAL) - High integrity and leadership skills - Demonstrate surveillance and emergency response skills. - Strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. - Committed and reliable - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT COMPETENCY - Able to lead the team and provide coaching/guidance to team member or direct report when is required - Able to recommend new initiative and provide solid solution when issue arise - Able to communicate clearly and information pass down to team member in timely manner - Able to conduct Emergency Evacuation Exercise LANGUAGE SKILL - English, Malay and other languages will be an advantage.
