WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....
1. Manage a team of Minor claims assessors to process claims transactions within the required benchmarks and in line with the Company and department goals.
2. Review and approve cases that exceed subordinates’ authority.
3. Handle enquiries or complaints within the stipulated requirements.
4. Train up new claims assessors of Minor Claims and cross training of assessors across different claims type to ensure that claims technical pool is sufficient to support the business volume.
5. Building and developing complete skill sets for claims assessors
6. Overall improves the team’s quality, turnaround time and productivity benchmark
7. Claims Reporting and Trends Analysis
8. Involve in Process Improvement
9. Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget
10. Involve and contribute in Staff Engagement

Manage team to ensure all Minor Claims processed as per stipulated requirements Ensure team meeting quality, turnaround time and productivity benchmark Plan resources to support day to day business needs by forecasting volume and arranging overtime where required. Review/approve cases that exceeds subordinates’ authority

Involved in staff recruitment, coaching, training and career development Make recommendation for Claims Approval Authority and arrange necessary authorities to be set up in system.
Develop training programs for claims assessors.

Report and monitor claim experience, quality and trend analysis, with a view to identifying gaps, formulating solutions and strategies as part of the risks management and control responsibilities and its implementation. Actively involved in process improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality of claims delivery.
Conduct regular claims review in claims performance to ensure claims principles/authorities are adhered to. Review claims decision making process to identify areas of claims risk management concerns for further improvements.

Review business plan and prepare budget to support business growth.

a. Organize and implement team engagement activities to foster closer team spirit and create work life balance environment.
b. Effectively manages and supervises team members in line with company policies and procedures, including those who are achieving personal work objectives and those who are under performing.

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager to meet business requirements
