**Key Responsibilities**
- **Leadership and Strategic Planning**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the school’s mission.
- Manage daily operations, resource allocation, and facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with education standards, refugee regulations, and child protection laws.
- Act as the liaison between the school, board, local authorities, and community partners.
- **Financial Management**:

- Develop and monitor the school’s budget, ensuring resources support objectives.
- Plan and track overall school cashflow on a monthly basis to maintain financial health and optimizing resources
- Prepare financial reports for the board and stakeholders, highlighting key insights.
- Set relevant financial KPIs for the school to ensure sustainability (Eg: total savings for the year, projected cash runway, targeted cash burnout)
- **Educational Programming**:

- Develop and implement a trauma-informed curriculum supporting refugee students’ academic and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teachers on language programs and differentiated instruction.
- Set KPIs for students’ performance at every grade year.
- **Academic and Non-Academic Staff Development**:

- Recruit, hire, and retain qualified, culturally competent staff.
- Provide professional development in trauma-informed education and social-emotional learning.
- Conduct evaluations, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.
- Set key KPIs for teacher performance.
- Plan and roll out learning development plan for both academic and non-academic staff
- Outline a teacher-career pathway and retention plan for teachers in Fugee School
- **Student Support and Well-Being**:

- Develop programs to address students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Partner with counsellors and social workers to provide support services.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and safety for all students.
- **Community and Family Engagement**:

- Build relationships with parents and the community to encourage engagement.
- Facilitate family involvement and ensure open communication.
- Collaborate with local organizations to provide additional resources for refugee families.
- **Marketing & Advocacy**:

- Serve as the primary representative of the school for all branding and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the institution's mission and vision.
- Represent the school at public events to enhance its visibility and advocate for the importance of refugee education.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field required.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years in educational leadership, preferably with refugee or trauma-informed settings.
- Proven success in budget management and grant writing.
- Experience with English Language Learners and culturally diverse populations.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial management.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, language acquisition, and social-emotional learning.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders.

**Language Skills**:
Proficiency in English required.

**Additional Requirements**:
Adaptability, commitment to refugee education, and willingness to engage in ongoing training.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
