Product Owner Lead BI Frontend Solutions

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

As the Head of BI Frontend Solutions, you will be part of the Global SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Team,
focused on HILTI’s frontend offering. You will be responsible for one of the biggest SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation in the world (8.000 unique users & 60.000 story views daily) as well as having the opportunity shape, build-up and roll
out SAP Datasphere as HILTI’s next generation Data Warehouse/Fabric solution and a foundation of HILTI’s BI strategy of the future.

You will play an active role in driving the adoption of analytics into the reporting & decision-making processes across HILTI’s whole organization by working closely with various key stakeholders from the business, ensuring easy access to data they need and to support them in realizing their analytical dashboards and business planning solutions.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
- In this role you will:

- Manage & develop the BI Frontend team incl. hiring & onboarding, continuous people development.
- Work closely with the business to understand the business requirements and how the BI Frontend solutions can fulfill those requirements.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop a BI vision and create a product roadmap for BI frontend that outlines the product offering overtime to achieve that vision.
- Initiate, prioritize & execute projects relating to the BI Frontend solutions, including exploration initiatives, implementation & improvement projects and lifecycle projects,
- Manage & improve operational processes to ensure stable operations of the BI Frontend solutions.
- Manage the capacity of the team and prioritize multiple backlogs against multiple targets to achieve balanced results - manage the vendor relationships and consultants.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- Ideally, at least 5 years of overall working experience with SAP BI products (BW, SAC, SAC Planning, Datasphere).
- An entrepreneurial and team player mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, interest in interest in technology.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
