Purpose of the function
Presales Consultant typically involves a combination of technical expertise, client engagement, and sales support. The main objective of a Presales Consultant is to work closely with the sales team to help secure new business and maintain existing client relationships. The primary focus is to understand the client's needs and showcase how WoodWing's products and services can address those needs effectively to solve client problems and pains.
**Job Description**:
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services, including their features, capabilities, and technical specifications. This knowledge will be crucial for effectively presenting and demonstrating the solutions to potential clients.
- Client Needs Analysis: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and assess the specific requirements of potential clients. Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their workflows, pain points, and objectives related to digital asset management and workflows.
- Solution Presentations: Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase how the company's products and services, offered by the company can meet the unique needs of each client. This may involve tailoring the presentations to address specific pain points and use cases.
- Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge to address client inquiries, provide technical explanations, and offer guidance on integrating the DAM solutions into the client's existing infrastructure.
- Proposal and RFP Responses: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to contribute to the development of proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Ensuring that all technical aspects of the proposals are accurate and aligned with the client's requirements.
- Proof of Concept (PoC) Support: Assist in setting up and managing proof of concept projects, demonstrating the effectiveness and feasibility of the DAM solutions for potential clients.
- Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and conduct competitor analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of rival DAM products. This information can be used to highlight the unique selling points of the company's solutions during interactions with clients.
- Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor during the sales process, building strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges, and offering solutions that drive value and ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to align strategies and ensure a smooth transition from presales to post-sales implementation and support.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digital asset management and related fields. This knowledge will help provide valuable insights and thought leadership to clients.

- Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of pre-sales experience in a business to-business sales environment.
- Proficient in English Language, Bahasa Malaysia, multi-linguist will be an added advantage as this is an APAC regional post.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess skills in MS Office and related productivity tools such as CRM.
- Familiar with business and sales oriented software tools.
