**Job description**:
We are looking for a HSE Manager develop new policies related to safety, health, and environmental concerns. He/She will be implementing new equipment, creating training programs, or adopting strategies to improve productivity while maintaining compliance with safety standards.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Standardize best HSE practice in Malaysia plant and Indonesia plant
- Ensure both Malaysia and Indonesia plant comply to local legal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.
- Lead investigations into accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections and audits to assess compliance and safety measures.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Manage environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of HSE activities.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives for continuous enhancement.
- Provide HSE training and education to employees.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline is typically required.
- Minimum 9 years of working experiences in related field.
- Green Book certification is a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of local and national HSE regulations in Malaysia is essential.
- Practical experience in HSE management, including program development and compliance.
- Experience and familiarity with industry hazards and safety requirements. Experience in food industry will be an advantage.
- Proficient in risk assessment and management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent employee’s engagement skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certification or experience such as Confined Space, Wastewater Treatment Process, Clean Air Regulation, ISO45001 and ISO 14001 are advantageous.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Having working experience in Malaysia and Indonesia will added advantage.
