Overall Accountability:
The Purchasing Assistant supports the procurement process for the Berjaya Times Square team by sourcing and purchasing goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery. The role involves administrative and operational tasks to ensure procurement efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organizational policies.

Overall Responsibilities:

- Assist in sourcing vendors and obtaining competitive quotations for materials, equipment, and services.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and update a database of approved vendors and suppliers.
- Establish good working relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments for timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports and documentation.
- Address and resolve any order discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting supplier evaluations and audits as needed.

General:

- At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical conduct and commitment to compliance.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
