Company Overview

Our client, a leading distributor in the automotive brake systems industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate the sales team, manage complex sales processes, and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales planning.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of Territory Sales Executives.
- Set performance objectives, provide feedback, and coach team members.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular sales pipeline meetings to monitor progress and align with sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
- Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Oversee purchasing activities and optimize inventory levels to meet sales forecasts.
- Create and implement competitive pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns, product launches, and trade shows.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities.

Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM or higher Diploma/Degree in marketing preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in the automotive or brake systems industry.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, with strong responsibility and customer focus.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively.
- Fluent in Mandarin (required for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients), and proficient in English and/or Malay (oral and written).

Work Arrangements & Schedule
- Monday to Friday ( 5 days work week)
- 9 am to 6 pm
- Public holiday and weekend are off

Salary Range

MYR 7,000 - RM 8,000 Per month

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
