National Contract Logistics Manager

**The Company**
Our client is one of the top 10 global logistics company who focuses on freight forwarding, customs brokerage, road transport and warehousing solutions globally.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the National Contract Logistics Manager will provide business and operations solutions for contract logistics, ensure efficient warehouse operations. Actively contribute to the growth of the company’s activities in the region and manage and lead a large team.
**The Role**:
- Responsible for P&L ownership and all contract logistics activities in the company’s region.
- Design, implement and enhance contract logistics solutions and operations by standardized processes and KPI-driven control system.
- Develop and oversee the annual budget and initiate corrective measures for any deviations.
- Promote customer relations, develop business growth, develop existing client base, and lead account management.
- Lead business development processes.
- Develop and executive investment plans in accordance with commercial target for facilities and resources.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor reports and data recordings of the warehouse to protect the company’s interest in case of dispute.
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with suppliers.
- Collaborate with HR in hiring and onboarding, performance reviews of logistics employees and promote talent growth and initiate business unit-targeted education and training.
- Collaborate with the respective managers to establish, maintain, and ensure ISO compliance for the warehouse.
- Ensure statutory obligations and company policy and procedures comply with transport laws, health and safety, environment and working time guidelines.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required.
**The Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in Logistics, preferably in a 3PL environment or gained in competitive service-based industries.
- Experience in senior level business development in Logistics or service-based industries.
- Good knowledge of security procedures and basic quality control at inbound and outbound storage to ensure cargo safety.
- Familiar with warehousing and logistics documentation (trucking, airfreight, and sea freight documentation).
- Familiar with international freight and customs expectations.
- Familiar with INCOTERMS and Dangerous Good.
- Good knowledge of usual logistics costs: staff, equipment, and asset utilization.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.

Pay: RM23,000.00 per month
