Interior Designer Project Executive

Our client, the ZENSHO Group, runs restaurant chains worldwide. The largest of these is Sukiya, which serves gyūdon rice bowls with beef. Zensho’s mass merchandising system (MMD) enables the company to fulfil its mission of providing safe, delicious food at affordable prices to people around the world. This system forms the foundation of Zensho’s business, embodying this mission in day-to-day operations.

**Position: Interior Designer Cum Project Executive**

Salary Range: RM 4,000 -7,000 (Depends on experiences and career history)

We are looking for an Interior Designer/Project Executive to act as a liaison between our Project teams. The role involves managing the day-to-day production of specific projects to ensure deadlines are met.

Responsibilities will include reviewing concept drawings, creating shop drawings and preparing project submissions.

To succeed in this role, you should have knowledge of and an interest in the retail market and consumer trends. You will use your excellent design skills and related competencies to build strong relationships with the project and sales team from initial contact through to handing over the projects. **Responsibilities**:

- Document compliance.
- Documenting code reviews and compliance.
- Communicating and coordinating with management, developers, landlords, the sales team, and contractors regarding daily business operations.
- The Interior Designer/Project Executive will guide, support, and manage the project to ensure accurate preparation of drawings and documents, and their coordination with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Troubleshooting production issues may require visiting sites/developers as necessary.

**Requirements: -**
- Ability to manage a design team with a collaborative leadership style that values relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring high-quality design.
- Exceptional graphic presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in presentations and in writing.
- Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), architectural and interior finishes, lighting, signage, colour and materials in order to carry out design intent.
- Proven ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines and provide a high-quality service to clients.
- A minimum of three years' professional experience in retail, supermarket, hypermarket or shopping centre projects required.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree or professional diploma in interior design or architecture.
- Ability to use AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D Max and InDesign.
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple projects, adjusting work accordingly against tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with top management, external client organisations and vendors.
- Ability to train junior staff.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
