**Responsibilities**:
**1. Production Planning & Execution**
- Develop transformer production plans based on annual company goals and order demands, allocate resources effectively, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee production processes (e.g., winding, assembly, testing), optimize workflow coordination, and improve production efficiency.
- Monitor real-time production progress, resolve bottlenecks, and address exceptions (e.g., material shortages, equipment failures).

**2. Quality Management & Process Control**
- Establish quality standards for transformer production (e.g., insulation performance, loss indicators), ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., IEC, GB) and customer requirements.
- Supervise critical processes (e.g., varnish dipping, drying, withstand voltage testing), implement first-article inspection and sampling systems to prevent defective products from proceeding.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality issues (e.g., no-load loss exceeding standards), drive process improvements, and reduce rework rates.

**3. Team Management & Training**
- Manage team staffing, performance evaluations, and skill assessments; establish cross-training programs for multi-skilled workers.
- Organize technical training (e.g., new processes, equipment operation) and conduct regular safety and 6S management workshops.
- Foster open communication channels, address employee concerns, and enhance team cohesion and execution.

**4. Cost Control & Lean Production**
- Monitor raw material consumption (e.g., silicon steel, copper wire, insulating varnish), optimize production scheduling to minimize waste, and achieve cost targets.
- Implement lean tools (e.g., TPM, Kanban) to reduce equipment downtime and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Collaborate with procurement to evaluate suppliers and optimize cost-performance ratios for materials.

**5. Equipment & Safety Management**
- Develop equipment maintenance plans (e.g., winding machines, vacuum impregnation systems) to ensure regular inspections and upkeep.
- Enforce safety protocols (e.g., high-voltage testing precautions, hazardous chemical storage), conduct risk assessments, and prevent workplace accidents.
- Lead accident investigations, implement corrective actions, and refine emergency response plans.

**6. Cross-Department Collaboration & Improvement**
- Partner with R&D during new product trials, providing feedback on manufacturability and process feasibility.
- Collaborate with logistics to streamline material delivery and reduce line-side inventory.
- Work with quality control to enhance testing standards and promote automated inspection systems.

**7. Documentation & Compliance**
- Maintain production records (e.g., process parameters, inspection reports) to ensure traceability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 standards and support internal/external audits.
- Prepare production reports (e.g., output per capita, first-pass yield) and report operational performance to management.

**8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement**
- Research industry advancements (e.g., automated winding, digital monitoring) to drive production line upgrades.
- Lead QC (Quality Control) initiatives to resolve technical challenges (e.g., reducing transformer noise).
- Explore energy-saving solutions (e.g., waste heat recovery) to support green manufacturing practices.

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in transformer or electrical equipment production is essential.
- Strong understanding of production processes such as winding, assembly, varnish dipping, and high-voltage testing.
- Familiar with industry standards such as IEC and GB, and quality management systems like ISO 9001 / 14001.
- Proven ability to manage teams, conduct training, and implement 6S and safety management practices.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (e.g., TPM, Kanban, OEE) and cost control techniques.
- Able to analyze data and solve problems using structured methods (e.g., root cause analysis, PDCA).
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Willing to work in Port Klang and commit to hands-on floor supervision and team development.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
