We are looking for an exceptional Director, Procurement Asia who can manage a team of procurement managers that drive day-today procurement of materials and services in alignment with the materials plan and company goals. You will have regional responsibility for the full Procurement process and will ensure supply continuity.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the region.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient and effective procurement activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Drive the transformation and consolidation of procurement activities withing the region in alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor supplier performance and manage the procurement process from request to delivery and payment.
- Evaluate market trends to enhance procurement practices and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage procurement budget, and provide regular reporting to senior management.

What will you bring to the team, along with your creativity and leadership is:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferred Masters.
- 10+ years of Global Commodity or Procurement Management experience.
- Experience managing multifunctional, multicultural global teams.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to build supporting networks.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills with executive level presentation proficiency.
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, CPM, or CPSM are advantageous.
- Travel availability for 25% of the working time
