**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**

1. Assist in inspection of facilities, machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with the Act and any regulations.

2. Identify, investigate and report any near miss, incidents and accidents

3. Collect and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/disease, near-miss and incident causing environment pollution which have occurred at the place of work.

4. Conduct S.H.E related briefing, training etc to all employees to introduce and maintain a safety and health culture.

5. Ensure all S.H.E related procedures and processes implemented are in compliance with the law and company rules and regulations.

6. Liaise with government agencies on matters related to DOSH, DOE & BOMBA.
7. Other duties and responsibilities assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & JOB REQUIREMENTS**

1. Possesses minimum 2 years of working experience in related field.

2. Possesses at least a professional certificate or post graduate diploma in Safety/Health/Environmental or equivalent.

3. Work requires willingness to work on a flexible schedule.

4. Attended and passed a certification course by NIOSH or equivalent.

5. Computer literate, good communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Well versed with the Occupational Safety & Health Act, Factories & Machinery Act, Environmental Quality Act and relevant law.

7. Yellow Book holder at least.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From RM2,400.00 per month
